Tyvek

Tyvek® is manufactured from polyethylene fibers formed under pressure. It is characterized by good printing-on qualities, is highly resistant to tearing through and destroying, plastic and light. It has a very good dimensional stability, is non-transparent to a substantial degree, and does not emit dusts. It is resistant to the impact of water, mould, fats, decaying and the majority of chemical substances, as well as the adverse weather conditions, ageing, mechanical deformation and abrasive wear. The impact of sea water for the period of no more than three months does not exert any negative influence upon the structure of Tyvek®.

This material is intended to be used in the conditions of: temperatures between -70 °C and +80 °C (temperature of melting: +135 °C).

We offer Tyvek® in rolls, in sheets or in the form of single products. There exists the possibility of ordering self-adhesive Tyvek®, also in the form of labels having any desired shape.

A particular type of Tyvek® is the variety of it called Brillion. This is a noble, gloss and smooth synthetic paper intended to be used for printing-on with the use of a thermal-transfer method. Several years of experience of our employees and also the suggestions of our Customers have made us recommend Tyvek® of the paper substance of 55 g/m2 or 75 g/m2 for the majority of applications.

The processing of the raw material of the Tyvek® type is supported by a certificate „TYVEK EXPERT”, issued by the manufacturer, the DuPont company. Our company is the only roll printing company in Poland being in the possession of such a certificate.
